- Envirolink: A nonprofit collaborative website that holds a tremendous amount of
information on general environmental issues. Browse by topic and subtopic.
- Envirofacts: An EPA site that allows users to search topics and has advanced search
options as well. Allows searching for specific geographic regions, reports and maps.
- Environmental Issues: Search by subject from an in depth list of
environmental issues from the United States Geological Services website. Many are location specific such as 'water quality and the Chesapeake Bay.
Environmental Bioinformatics
- CDC Environmental Health Computational Toxicology Lab: Provides a nice overview of the uses
of comp tox in the
area of pollution mitigation and environmental and human health.
- Computational Toxicology: An EPA site which explains the implications of
toxicology within the scope of human
and environmental health, along with the role that informatics has taken in the field.
